Admin Guide

Introduction​

Sheetloom automatically injects the latest source data into your Excel spreadsheet models and reports, saving you time on copying and pasting, and eliminating error.

How it does this is quite simple. You name a range or workbook in an Excel model template and give the same name to an SQL query (which we call a Data Stitch) in Sheetloom that is configured to connect to your data source.

By matching these names during processing (or weaving as we like to call it), Sheetloom knows exactly where to inject the query results in the generated Excel file.

It is straightforward to configure and work with Sheetloom, but there are some things you need to know and be familiar with to get going. These are covered in this Guide, which is intended for Sheetloom Administrators.
