Enhanced Data Types
Data types are a special feature in Microsoft Excel which give you richer information about data in a particular cell by blending it with another data source such as Bing or Excel. For example, if your data set returns geography, Excel can enhance this with additional information about the country's population, capital city, or GDP.
For a full list of data types available in Microsoft Excel, please see this guide.
For a guide on how to use data types, please see this guide.
To use data types in your sheets, we recommend using dummy placeholder data to enable Microsoft Excel to fetch the correct information. Once you're happy with it, remove the dummy data and upload your finished template. Sheetloom will slot the data into the right place and the enhanced data type information should remain.
Example
Here you can see an example of the Geography data type which has been populated by Sheetloom and enhanced by Excel.
