Enhanced Data Types
Data types are a special feature in Microsoft Excel which give richer information about data in a particular cell by blending it with another data source such as Bing or Excel. For example, if your data set returns geography, Excel can enhance this with additional information about the country's population, capital city, or GDP.
For a full list of data types available in Microsoft Excel, see this guide.
For a guide on how to use data types, see this guide.
To use data types in a sheet, we recommend using dummy placeholder data to enable Excel to fetch the correct information. Once built, remove the dummy data and upload the finished template. Sheetloom will slot the data into the right place and the enhanced data type information should remain.
