Data Stitches

Here we'll learn about the core concept behind Sheetloom - the Data Stitch.

Stitches are essentially result sets which are defined programmatically through an SQL query or script. Each time you run Sheetloom, it picks up the definitons of these Stitches and executes them, fetching the latest data for you and placing it in a spreadsheet. This allows you to consistently return accurate and up-to-date data every time, and eliminates the human error of copy-pasting data.

Stitches are the building blocks of your data and can be as big or as small as you like.
